Coaxial multiplexer for automatic measurement of AC current
Boštík, Ondřej ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
Master’s thesis in the theoretical part deals with literature review on the topic of measurement errors and measurement uncertainties. The practical part deals with the simulation of additional capacitive and resistive load on the amplitude and phase error during shunts based measurement. For this simulation is used mathematical apparatus of cascade matrix of two-ports and their connections. For the actual simulation is used script for MATLAB. Furthermore, the work deals with the design of voltage follower to eliminate simulated errors and its practical realization. The last part deals with the design of the coaxial multiplexer for switching current shunts developed in the Czech Metrological Institute in Brno.
Smart power socket for charging electrical appliances in public areas
Chalupa, Tomáš ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is primarily focused on design and construction of a prototype smart power socket that will be used to charge electrical appliances in public areas. It provides user authentication based on an attached RFID element and monitoring of the charging progress. For this, it uses communication with an external cloud database. The actual construction of the prototype has been divided into three main parts in this thesis, control, electrical and mechanical. The introduction is also complemented by a research section dealing with microcontrollers, cloud systems and RFID technology.
Quadrocopter - Control Unit and Communiaction
Vomočil, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This thesis deals with design control and communication unit for flying robot known as Quadrocopter. The goal is design and practical implementation unit, which allows measurement of tilt and rotation of the robot in the airspace using inertial sensors. Furthermore, this unit conveys the user information about the flight altitude at which the robot is located. All measured data are transmitted via communication modules to the ground and processed user software.
USB miltimeter with microprocessor
Samek, Martin ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kovář, Jan (advisor)
Topic of my terminal labour is a proposion of multimeter and its resulting connection by the help of bus USB. When proposing the multimeter there was a tendency to use a minimal number of component parts to conserve a good protection against a bad usage in application. The most widespread busbar USB is used for connection of the multimeter and a computer. Standard HID is used for communication, for that it is not neccessary to install any system drivers.
Meter of powerline quality
Samek, Martin ; Horský, Pavel (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The subject of graduation thesis is a design of line analyser according to standard EN61000-4-30 class A. The analyser is determine to be used for quality control of supplied electric power which is, during electric power transmission, affected by several disturbances. Power line analyser should measure single-phase and three-phase network parameters in LV and HV systems. Measured parameters can be shown on the full colour TFT display, stored in the device memory or sent to other devices such as PC. For communication between the device and PC the USB, Ethernet or RS485 interface are used.
Draft sources 1000A AC current sensors for calibration
Klimeš, Jan ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Dohnal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of device for precise measurement of 1000 A alternate current. This thesis theoretically discusses the possibilities of conventional solutions, such as current transformers, as well as modern methods in the form of current sensors. The output of this thesis is a solution of problems with accuracy and discussion of other possible ways to reduce systematic error. The thesis discusses structure of the current transformer, the digitalizing of the signal and its usage as an input for engineering units. The device is then tested for final accuracy.
Design of unit for Power HIL simulation of DC motor
Chalupa, Jan ; Maršík, Jiří (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis and implementation of Power-HIL system that is designed to simulate real DC motor with comutator and permanent magnets. For problem analysis were used simulations of real components in Matlab / Simulink. The electronic parts of system were simulated with using the SimElectronic library. Idividual hardware components were designed according to simulation results. The outcome of this thesis is a power electronic simulator of real DC motor, which is implemented on dSPACE platform. The system allows software to setup parameters and behavior of simulated motor. The final system can be used for testing DC motor ECU (electronic control units).
Dual channel bench power supply
Stehlík, Ota ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and construct a two-channel bench power supply with variable output voltage in range from 0 V to 25 V with a maximum output current of 2 A. At the beginning of the thesis a general principles of power supplies are summarized. In the following section a detailed design description and simulation results of the main power supply are given. Afterwards, the design and description of auxiliary power supply with electronically controlled fan is presented. Finally, measured characteristics of the bench power supply are given.
Operating amplifier tester
Zápeca, Jan ; Khateb, Fabian (referee) ; Vávra, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis tries to describe the evolution of the device designated for testing of the operational amplifier 1458. The evolution is associated with theoretical preparation useful for future application of obtained knowledge. This knowledge is presented by measuring methods which are suitably chosen and by choice of parts. Consequently, particular coplexes join together and the conception of future operational amplifier 1458 tester is created. The conception of tester in logically connected blocs form leads to creation of electrical scheme and also to smooth transition from theoretical part to practical application of knowledge. The tester is designed as a digital device. The microcontroller becomes the principal control component. The microcontroller defines accurately the final function of device. Tha last part of bachelor's thesis describes the tester manufacturing. The conclusion respresents the summary of knowledge and results of bachelor´s thesis. Functional device, which is the result of bachelor´s thesis, detects the operational amplifier defect in 2 levels - the gain fault and the defect of overcurrents. The tester identifies explicitly whether tested operational amplifier 1458 is defective.
Using brushless d.c. motor to drive servo-unit with safety function
Rudolf, Ladislav ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Prajzner, Václav (advisor)
In this work, a proposal for BLDC motor control, which will be used as a drive linear actuator. Control with microcontroller focuses mainly aspects such as motor mode, regenerative mode, measuring rotor position sensors and measuring the motor current, which corresponds to the moment. The result of the work is focused on upgrading the existing Honeywell actuator, where the processor-controlled BLDC motor to replace the existing system and take over the actuator working function and emergency function.
